Well, almost a year after I resigned from my first job.

Currently, I’m at one of the largest bank in Indonesia, working as Network Security Officer. My responsibility is, pretty much, doing a support for network security operations. In fact, my department is called Security Operations.

Which is something new for me, I never do any Ops job.

I thought the job would be boring, since, yeah, it’s ops. But I was totally wrong. Supporting 2300+ branch around the country and 39k+ employees is, and will, not an easy task, let alone contractor spanning from Philippines to France.

Apart from the ops, I also responsible for doing any new projects like replacing old firewall and implementing VPN for remote workers. But it’s something I’m confortable doing so it’s not a big issue.

Anyway, let’s see in 1 year mark, will I still enjoy it? Or else?
